Who we are

The European Synthetic Biology Society (EUSynBioS) was originally founded as a student-led initiative in late 2014 (The European Association of Synthetic Biology Students and Postdocs) and since mid-2019 is registered as a nonprofit organization in Paris (France). The Society is led by a Steering Committee composed of international scientists based all around Europe. Our goal is to shape and foster the European synthetic biology community by providing an integrative central resource for interaction and professional development.

What we do

EUSynBioS strives to support synthetic biology researchers in Europe through academic and industrial collaboration. We promote European synthetic biology in our annual conferences, collecting and distributing up to date news on the field, building up a network of investigators, academics, and industry representatives. Moreover, we sponsor professional development events, create internship and mentoring opportunities for our members, and collaborate with related associations and communities all over the world.
