The fourth EUSynBioS Symposium is coming this year to the rising biotech hub Brno in the Czech Republic, bringing together the young European synthetic biology community. Together with the Biomania student association the symposium will take place from the 30th of September to the 1st of October 2019 in the main hall of the futuristic Brno Observatory and Planetarium.
While most popular synthetic biology news originate from countries such as Germany or the UK, EUSynBioS is committed to promote and support synthetic biology from all over Europe. After the first successful EUSynBioS symposia in the UK (London 2016), Spain (Madrid 2017) and France (Toulouse 2018), the Czech Republic promises to offer a new perspective on European synthetic biology research from the very center of Europe
Brno itself can boast a rising biotech scene that has made the city a rival to the capital Prague and is home to Biomania, a student-led association focused on biotechnology and biomedicine. Together with Biomania, the EUSynBioS 2019 Symposium will be a joint-event hosted in the sleek facilities of the Brno Observatory and Planetarium. Expect a program full of exciting talks, break-out sessions with experts and plenty of networking opportunities!
